Planet Kids Muizenberg - KIDS DANCE CLASSES
Planet Kids will be offering dance classes for kids aged 5 - 8 yrs this year. Classes are taught by a qualified dance teacher and follow a set syllabus. Classes are open to boys and girls. Parents, bring your child for a 1 hour session which includes a 30 minute dance class and 30 minutes of playtime at Planet Kids.
Need extra time to run errands? Work keeping you from bringing your child? Our staff can take care of your child if you are busy before or after the session. The Rainbow Puppet Theatre presents The Frog Prince - Situated at the Constantia Waldorf School, tucked away in the Kindergarten building is the only permanent Puppet Theatre in South Africa. The Rainbow Puppet Theatre has been performing to the public every Saturday morning at 10h00 and 11h15 for 20 years (on 14th May 2012)! World of Birds is the largest bird park in Africa - Over 3 000 birds (and small animals) of 400 different species are uniquely presented in more than 100 spacious landscaped walk through aviaries, allowing you the most intimate closeness with nature. The Giraffe House - c/o R304 towards Stellenbosch and R101 (towards Paarl) -is a Wildlife Awareness Centre providing easy access to some of our wonderful wildlife and bird species. Focusing mainly on African wildlife, Giraffe House aims to provide a place for people to enjoy a family picnic in the fresh air, whilst experiencing and learning about animals and conservation. Education is our primary focus, and we cater for preschool and school groups. Guided tours will be available on request. Recreation and relaxation are important in today's busy world, and Giraffe House offers the family an opportunity to spend affordable quality time together outdoors. Jungle gyms and a giraffe jumping castle are available. There is no restaurant on the permises, but a refreshment kiosk supplies snacks and something to drink. We will be hosting our annual Harvest Festival at Mischa Wine Estate on 17 & 18 March 2012. Mischa Wine Estate is an exclusive, family-run farm that only opens its doors to the public once a year! We will be hosting a relaxing day at the farm for the entire family to experience the incredible views, stunning food and of course superb award winning wines. Everyone will kick-back in a Moroccan tent with cushions and stunning views, chill out to relaxing music (we are in the process of chatting with Holiday Murray) and taste the internationally acclaimed Mischa Estate & Eventide wines. There will be some delicious local foodstalls to fill those rumbly tummies.
A special kiddie’s area will be available to entertain the little ones! Plus we have an incredible crystal-clear idyllic fresh-water pool which people can swim in. There will be tractor rides plus we have created a mountain bike course through the farm for the more adventurous.

The Blue Train - is a fun activity for children from one year old and up. Have a little trip on Cape Town’s only miniature train with a view of the sea, passing ships and Robben Island. Train tickets are R9 a ride. Proceeds generate funds for the Rotary Club of Sea Point’s projects, so this is not only fun, but good causes benefit as well. You can also spend quality time in the upgraded safe park, playing on a climbing rock, a jumping castle or the jungle gym as well as ride on our new tricycle track. Baby Play Date - On Friday mornings from 10 am - 12 noon there will be a group for 6 - 12 month olds for Mommies and Daddies and babies to socialize. As we only charge from 10 months old the younger babies and their parents can come in completely for free. Mom's Day Off and Toddler Play Date - On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am - 12 noon there will be a new group for 18 - 24 month olds where they can socialize and practice saying bye-bye to Mommy. We will make this the same time as Toddler Play Date for the 12 -24 month olds where mommies will stay to make the transition to Mom's Day Off easier. Millstone Farmstall and Cafe - The Millstone Farmstall has a fantastic kiddie’s garden with a tree house ship for pirate voyages for the boys.
