There is huge power in sitting down and asking yourself how you would like your life to be and how you would like to be. From my experience of coaching, many people are unclear about what is they want from life. It can take some time to work out precisely how you would like to be, and how you would like your life to be. If you are really stuck, spend time daydreaming so that you don’t limit your idea of how your life can be. by Kirsten Long - Life Coach

Have fun with this! Play with this! When you have been doing this for awhile, then you can start to formulate a detailed picture of what you want from life. Of course, once you know what it is that you want, it becomes easier to figure out how to get it! Then you can set out to do just that. Even if your life is far removed from how you would like it to be, you start by identifying one small step you can take today to get you there, and do it. Take one or two small steps every day towards the life you want, and you will get there. Make those small steps a priority – in other words, do them before you tackle the rest of your day. Your dreams, your vision, and your need to live the life you want are surely more important than anything else. When you start doing one or two things every day of your life that will move you towards your dream, it will become more tangible.

Do this, and you will start to feel empowered and in control of your life. After all, if you are taking daily action to get where you want to go, your life will start changing – which will motivate you even more.

So take time today to dream, and then do something to start moving in the direction of your dreams. Do it today!
