CEDARWOOD SCHOOL  A remedial primary school which practices inclusion.  By this we mean that most of our pupils have normal cognitive abilities but have a specific learning problem eg; dyslexia, dyscalculia, language based learning difficulties and they will follow the mainstream syllabus. etc, but we do include up to 3 more “high support need” learners in the regular classroom.  These children could have cognitive difficulties, autism, physical disabilities etc.  Often they will need their own facilitator to assist them in being part of the inclusive environment, but some cope adequately on their own.
